Community Fundraising

Rotherham Opportunities College (ROC) is now a registered charity and we’d love you to be part of our journey. By fundraising for ROC, you’re helping young people with learning and physical disabilities gain the confidence, skills and independence they need for adult life. Every activity, every contribution and every bit of support helps our students move closer to their own goals.

Get Involved

Community fundraising is a brilliant way to support ROC while bringing people together. Whether you’re planning something small and simple or a bigger community event, your efforts make a real difference. Here are a few ideas to spark inspiration:

Host a coffee morning or cake sale
Run a quiz night at your local pub or community centre
Take on a sponsored walk, swim or step challenge
Hold a raffle or prize draw using donated items
Plan a dress-down day or fun team challenge at work
Collect loose change in your school, club or workplace

What could your donation fund?

Your support helps us provide the practical resources and experiences our students rely on. For example:
£10 could fund creative supplies for an arts or craft session
£20 could fund ingredients for a life-skills cooking lesson
£50 could fund specialist communication or sensory equipment
£100 could fund a full day of supported community activities for a group of students
