ROC Joins National Campaign to Spotlight SEND Success

ROC is thrilled to be part of The Power of Specialist Further Education—a national awareness week running from 1–5 December 2025, coordinated by Natspec to spotlight the transformative impact of specialist FE for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

At ROC, we believe every learner deserves an education that’s tailored, empowering and student-centred. Our provision is designed to unlock potential through bespoke education and supporting students to thrive both in college and beyond. From work experience placements to creative enrichment activities, every element of our offer is shaped by student voice and a commitment to accessibility.

This week, we’re not just celebrating our learners. We’re amplifying their stories and we’re honoured to welcome two very special guests who share our vision for inclusive education: Sarah Champion, MP for Rotherham, and the Mayor of Rotherham will be visiting ROC to meet students, staff to see first hand the impact of specialist FE in our community.

Their visit marks a powerful moment of recognition for the work happening at ROC every day. It’s a chance to showcase our students’ achievements, our staff’s dedication and the vibrant, supportive environment we’ve built together.

Because at ROC, we don’t just teach. We unlock education. We transform lives. We create lasting impact.
