We are proud to announce that we have officially become a registered charity (1214453). This marks an important step forward in our college’s mission to empower learners and strengthen our role in the local community.
Dr Perdita Mousley, Principal of ROC, said: “Becoming a registered charity is something we have been working towards for some time. It is an important milestone for the college because it will help us to explore new opportunities when it comes to accessing new streams of funding.

We believe that everyone who spends time at our college can play an important role in our local community. Our learning experiences are designed to equip our students with the vital skills needed to enjoy many of the things that we all take for granted in adulthood.
Over the years, we’ve forged some terrific partnerships with local businesses and community-led organisations, and we are hoping to extend our offering to ensure that no young adult with special educational needs is left behind. We’ve got some exciting plans for the college and becoming a charity is central to us realising those ambitions.”
Our new charitable status brings us closer to realising our ambition of expanding to a larger facility, giving our students the space they need to grow, learn and thrive. ROC is committed to providing diverse and enriching learning experiences that empower students with the skills they need to thrive in adulthood. Now, as a registered charity, we’re more determined than ever to elevate our offer and make an even greater impact.
