Supported Internships at Rotherham Opportunities College

Supported Internships are the final step for our young people before gaining sustainable paid employment.

Supported Internships are a one year course that focus on the day to day skills needed to successfully enter and stay in employment.

The holistic approach we take means that our young people are prepared not only with the skills they need to carry out their duties, but also set up for success when they start to get paid.

Our internship offer is five days per week and these are split by working four days at your host business and one day for classroom sessions such as personal, social development and also for the opportunity to gain qualifications in an area related to your work.

Joining a Supported Internship at ROC means you will receive support from our award winning team. Since the programme started, ROC have been able to support 25 young people receive sustainable employment offers. The course is designed to develop our young people both personally and professionally and it is amazing to see the progress our interns can make in just one year.
