Inclusion pathway at Rotherham Opportunities College
ROC Inclusion is a pathway based at our St Barnabas site. This pathway focuses on sensory integration with their environment, supported by a therapeutic education curriculum. ROC Inc offers a calm, classroom environment to meet the individual needs of our students.
Intent
The intent behind the offer at ROC Inc is to integrate our students into their daily environment, allowing them to build their resilience to new and exciting experiences.
Implementation
This pathway offers our students a bespoke learning package built to their needs, allowing for them to become more resilient, independent and engaged in their sessions. Therapeutic involvement is embedded throughout their curriculum and led by ROC’s team of highly experienced therapists.
Impact
This pathway gives students the strategies needed to engage in their learning so that they can progress towards their goals and outcomes.
